INTRODUCE：

Based on the consumption of the roll ring of the rolling mill, the cost is very important for steel company, we have developed a suitable high alloy nodular cast iron roll ring from the customer's point of view. Compared with the HSS and tungsten carbide material of the roll ring although the property of the roll relatively lower but the cost performance is quite satisfied. Based on the traditional nodular cast iron rolls we optrmized the alloy composition elements such as Ni,Cr,Mo,W etc which improved the strength and hardness and wear resistance. The product has been successfully in U.S. customers more than 3 years,the feedback from the user see its stable performance, economic price, especially suitable for the characteristics of orders and small batch quantity which is suitable for strict surface quality and high precision. Thoes factor requires the production of high frequency changing, for the next production of the same size product need to re-address the pass as well even if the last time is not too much tonnage, taking into account the requirements of the order will be re-addressed and tool steel roll ring is not necessary to use due to excessive waste. In this case, we developed a high alloy nodular cast iron roll ring to meet demand.
